Which SRV song should I do next?
Added 2024-09-20 14:29:25 +0000 UTCHello everyone,
It was great to see the positive comments on the video for "Lenny". Which Stevie Ray Vaughan song should I do next?
(I've also posted this poll on the YouTube community page. However, I weight Patreon requests more so I wanted to see your opinion separately.)

2024-11-01 03:31:33 +0000 UTC'Little Wing' may not be one with the highest challenge amongst all J.H. respective SRV tracks - in terms of musical theory but also 'guitar handcraft' - but may be(come) indeed the one that touches a guitarist's soul and remembrance most strongly. Therefore I decided to start practising this one and Lenny's possible future performance of 'Little Wing' definetly would be a very inspiring contribution to drive a guitarist's skills and perfection!

2024-09-20 17:06:35 +0000 UTCI was going to recommend “life by the drop” by SRV also, and I thought the same thing it’s all acoustic, but wow! He was pouring his WHOLE Heart and Soul into those songs, “Tightrope”, and “Life By The Drop” It really sucks because he was a maniac cocaine abuser and a huge alcoholic!! But, he kicked both habits and was more inspired than ever before, and I think it shows in his music!! He was even giving speeches at his concerts at the end talking about how bad he used to be with drugs and liquor, and that he was doing so much better in every way possible, and after one of those speeches at an Epic “Blues Guitarist Concert” with Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, and Jimmie Vaughan. And everyone, including the previous 5 master blues guitarists, I just mentioned, all said that Stevie Ray Vaughan, was in a different league, than anyone else alive At that time and he without a doubt owned that stage that night and since SRV was now 💯 % Sober, he didn’t like to hang around to long after shows, so he said his thanks to everyone and that’s when SIR Eric Clapton made the most genuine and generous gesture, which he would later regret for the rest of his life, Clapton, being a very close friend knew Stevie wasn’t going to party and didn’t want to be around to much partying period, because he was so confident about his newfound life’s path, and knowing all this, Eric Clapton gave up his brand new Helicopter 🚁 to Mr Stevie Ray Vaughan, so he was expecting to arrive early to his next stop on the tour…. Shortly after lifting off on August 27, 1990, Stevie Ray Vaughan and four others were killed in a helicopter crash in East Troy, Wisconsin, after performing with Double Trouble at Alpine Valley Music Theatre. An investigation concluded that the cause of the accident was pilot error.

2024-09-20 15:37:38 +0000 UTCI’m new to Mr. Tabs so pardon me if I’m naming one you’ve already done, but Lenny and Riviera Paradise would be top of my list.
