HAPPY NEW YEAR 2021 README (IMPORTANT)

******Patreon does not allow direct price modifications to tiers.  In order to change to the $15/mo. CRANKPRENTICE subscription, you will need to change your subscription to that tier.

hellooooo everyone!  first of all I wanna say if you're reading this, thank you for being a patron.  the patreon page has not been live for a full year, but even with that, I consider the past year here a success.  thank you all for making that possible.  

as you all are quite familiar with, my #1 policy is transparency.  I'm writing this post to all of you to inform you of some changes to the patreon and some updates in general.  

***FOR ALL PATRONS:

first and foremost, if you saw my last post you're aware that I took the month of December off from Patreon, primarily because of the time that needed to be spent on dropping my GWT merch line as well as the CRANKSMAS 2020 MIX.  once again I want to apologize - there is no feeling worse to me than failing to uphold my responsibilities, and to my despair for this past month, that was inevitable.  i believe in practicing good business, and because of that i have promised to refund all CRANKPRENTICE TIER patrons and higher their $20 for the month of December.  unfortunately, I made a call to deposit my patreon account to my bank a few days before making that promise, so I was unable to do so this past month with a dry patreon acct.  however, funds should be rolling in over the course of the next week, and I will use those to look back to last month and refund accordingly.  

having made that call for december, it was important to me to look introspectively to find what created the issues preventing me from being able to uphold my duties and services last month.  after having done so, I've decided to make a number of changes to the patreon page in order to equip it for long term success, especially as i believe touring will be returning within coming months.  

MAIN CHANGES:

1. CRANKPRENTICE FEEDBACK & PRICE REDUCTION - beginning in 2021, feedbacks will be eliminated from the crankprentice tier.  subsequently, the price for this tier will be reduced to $15/month.  I sincerely apologize to those of you who use these, I'm aware that I will likely lose some of you over this change.  the reason for this is that at the moment, i do not have a sufficient system to be able to handle feedbacks in a reasonable amount of time for the price.  i take pride in my work, and because of that some feedbacks were taking me 40+ minutes.  this was the main downfall for me in december.  in lieu of feedbacks, i plan on spending MUCH more time creating resources (videos, racks, samples) that i will be catering to you - specifically asks from the discord.

2. GEARHEAD TIER ELIMINATION - the gearhead tier was an idea I wanted to provide - however there are not many people subscribed to this tier.  uploading and managing content for this proved to be a bit tedious for the number of people subbed.   I apologize to the gearhead tier subs!  i encourage you to sub on twitch from time to time instead if your purpose is support.

3. MECHANIZED MASTER TEMPORARY DISCOUNT - i am going to be temporarily reducing the price of mechanized master to $99 for the month of January and potentially February.  i am doing this to encourage some new people to take advantage of the service!  I encourage you to reach out to some of the other patrons in the discord and hear their thoughts on the service.  everyone I have worked with thus far is thrilled with the results. 

There are a few other minor changes as well, I encourage you to revisit your tier on the tiers page to check.  if you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out to me via message or my coach crank email.  I'm very excited to ring in the new year with you guys and continue to help you all become better producers!  changes will go live tonight.
