None of us had EVER seen a Bruce Lee movie before, so what did we think?

Sean mentioned bruce lee actually hitting actors, thats why bruce lee gets his ass kicked in once upon a time in hollywood: the book makes a big deal about him “tagging” stuntmen and once upon a time in hollywood is supposed to be an ode to the stuntman

I never found them that great story-wise, but I've still watched them multiple times over the years purely to see Bruce Lee. I rarely watch movies just because an actor is in them, but in this case he is the reason to watch these films. And all the myths and legends surrounding him is great.
