Behind The Scenes: SpiderVerse #1
Added 2019-05-06 11:34:05 +0000 UTCThe SpiderVerse video is coming along well, but might need to be rerecorded. The original recording is fine, but I'm having problems getting footage for the movie and I feel like changing my script.
The thing with Operation Black Steel is that I'm very picky with it. I don't release videos on a whim. They take a lot of time and research. It's very possible that this video could end up being a simple review of the movie. Nothing more and nothing less.
The movie deserves time to be spotlighted on the channel. And, I'm working hard to make sure it becomes a thing. The big thing with SpiderVerse that makes it so great is that sense of identification it gives young people of colour, and how it reminds them they're significant and Spider-Man doesn't have to be a "straight white male" like some executives have imposed.
Just like Boondocks, I'm a really big fan of SpiderVerse, Miles and the movie and I want to do it justice. Rushing the video wouldn't be doing that. It would disrespectful to the series, my patrons and subscribers. Give it time. It'll come.
