"This Generation Too Sensitive"

I've been encountering this more and more as the days go by, and I'm finding the whole prospect beyond ridiculous. These half-baked backwards outlooks on progressive politics, and how its all made our generation and the people in it 'too sensitive' which to me, just sounds like a pretentious bullshit way of going "I suffered, so everyone else has to too."

It's kind of like if during the Civil Rights Era, a bunch of a black people saw figures like MLK and X, and went:

"Where do these people get off? I was fine with spent my whole life being treated like a nigga, and now people complaining? What happened to the world?"

Its ridiculous.

Sensitivity has become such a buzzword that it essentially serves as a way to maintain the status quo, cause' stupid people can't see beyond their own flawed reality.  That maaaaaybe, just because the world has been a certain way for a long time, doesn't necessarily mean that's a good thing.

It enable things like toxic masculinity, problematic media and overall results in a "toughen up, suck it up and die" mentality which people seem to cling to and push onto marginalised groups. Video about this at some point.
