New Video. Feelin' introspective.
Added 2020-05-18 05:27:27 +0000 UTCI've been doing a lot of quiet reflection on everything I am, and things that have come and gone with my growth as an individual.
Back in the day, I wasn't that progressive. I always wanted to help people, but I never quite knew how to do it. I was very much a product of everything I'd seen and witnessed, but also the system.
Years ago, I probably would've told you work hard, get good grades, don't do drugs, and keep God in your heart and you'll be fine. Nowadays, uhhhh, nah. I'm a very different person.
Man, I'm different person to who I was last year too, if we wanna get recent.
And so, the more I read for these videos and self-interest, the more I see my views change and develop. To the point where I can look back and some things I said and/or believed and I kind of groan.
It's similar with dreams. I was talking with a bunch of industry folk on a podcast recently. Al the people on this podcast and way more important and prolific than me, and something that got me mind rattling was the fact that all of them said that, while they loved what they did and as kids loved it, as adults they've grown a slight disdain for it.
It got me thinking a lot about losing yourself, and what that truly means. More stuff on this in time.
