I realized that I hadn't written about why there is a delay between the end of the month and when the envelopes go out: Patreon takes five days to process payments before they give me the all clear to ship out. I believe this is in case an issue pops up for a Patron it can be resolved within that window without missing the delivery. I just want to be transparent about this stuff so hopefully that helps!

2018-07-11 03:09:48 +0000 UTCI don't live very far from you (in Her Majesty's Colony of Nova Scotia, as Lovecraft might have put it). I had assumed the delay was due to customs. My psyche needs a full month to recover from your continued assaults on my sanity anyway.
