I know you Love Bad News!!!

Okay, so for those who're facebook friends with me you're aware of the situation. 2 Days ago my Asus (The laptop I use to draw everything because its SAI compatible) dropped while it was on, damaging the harddrive....for a full day oddly. This was right when I was trying to finish that FGO NA BBQ illustration entry (the half-assed job seen above). Because I wanted to actually submit something regardless, I did my best to try and recover my files. Which I did, but they were on previous saves which set me back. I was still able to manage to work on my Asus after that...until SAI just stopped working. As in it wouldn't let me continue with anything or save it because "My Memory was full" I reset/deleted a lot from my Memory, tried it again, and still, SAI wouldn't let me do anything. I've worked larger files that this before so I know its not a case of that. So with everything done, I just gave up on that laptop. I had to take my earlier save files and put them on my older MAC. I bought Adobe CC AGAIN (after deleting it previously) because SAI is not MAC compatible. So I literally spent the entire day just to get THIS thing done. You all know I can do better, but time was not on my side so I had to really push through it and cut a lot of corners.

So what does this mean? Well, Some of my files for this month were lost/unable to open to convert to PSD. So I have to start over on a few. Plus, I'm now doing things on photoshop...well....I'm not exactly the most comfortable with that program. Like...Sai was a hella easier. I tried Clip Studio Pro but its honestly getting on my nerves how complicated it is. Because of lost time and the fact I have to redo some things. December will not have CGS. Because one it'll just take forever to redo from scratch and two, I'm getting myself used to photoshop again. I understand that you may be frustrated with pushing stuff back or the fact that I had to cut corners with these rewards that I already postponed, but I did not anticipate my laptop falling out of my car and busting my harddrive for a full day, and then SAI just plain up quitting on me. Like I don't enjoy the fact that life is constantly crapping on me. Like because of this I have to refund someone's $95 commission I was working on because I can't reopen their file.
