Don’t get me wrong, performance (lip sync, dancing, some w/ original music) is certainly a talent.. but that should be the standard of a queen on a show like drag race at this point… right?? You SHOULD be able to lip sync and dance…. The phrase “talent show” makes me think gymnastics, fire twirling, playing instruments, shoot I’d even take a hula hoop lol 😭 I felt like I could’ve gone to a local bar and seen most of those numbers, nothing blew me away Despite my thoughts there, I love the energy of this cast and I’m happy to have a new season! Already imagining some interesting snatch games w/ a younger cast. Also the collective groan from the audience at the bar I watched at + the videos I’m seeing of the groans when Woman’s World started is killing me 😂😭

There is no chance at winning for someone like Joella, even though she seems lovely. Don't cast someone unless they can actually win! - WTF was Crystal's runway look? Other than that atrocity, she was not memorable at all. - There wasn't a huge standout talent show moment from this batch like there has been in the past few seasons. It felt a bit underwhelming. - I can't decide if I will love or loathe Kori - Where are the older queens?

Ru figured out a way to make Rate A Queen fun and Kori got to be a little messy without wrecking the game. - This is the season of blush & cliffhangers (S/O Violet; pleasers really are not your friends). - This is a gorgeous group of queens; the variety of makeup styles and runway looks has me so excited! - Lexi, Lucky and Jewels really caught my eye this episode. Loved Lexi’s mutha energy and Lucky’s creativity blew my mind. Jewels MTQ didn’t register with me but she was a complete package this week (#ting). - Suzie was also impressive; hopefully she has more makeup looks though. - On the Pit Stop, Raven said that Hormona’s confessional look was Sadness from Inside Out and I just cannot unsee it 😂 - Have we ever had this many RuGirl descendants on one season?! Trinity’s daughter and granddaughter, Luxx’s daughter, Irene’s daughter & Nina Bonina’s estranged kid?! I live! - There are soooo many Southern queens! Only 2 LA & 1 NYC. That has to be a first. - These queens are so YOUNG! Some first started watching with Season 10 & that just feels rude 😂

I like the changes they made to untucked so far and I hope untucked is a little more relaxed this season (DRPH really has the best untucked. Is it the food? lol). Kori and Lexi are both stand outs for me and Suzie is really winning me over too. Off topic - Canada’s Drag Race just had an amazing design challenge episode where the queens designed for Brooke and she walked the runway in each look. They brought Suki Doll in to help the queens with their designs which I think more DR franchises should do!

However, it did feel kind of rushed sometimes, did you also feel like the entire entrance segment was 3 minutes long?? Also, more than with the MTQ, I noticed a surprisingly delightful diversity in terms of “types of drag” or unique perspectives from what you can tell with their looks and backstories. I think that could make for a really dynamic and messy cast (although concerningly too young, maybe?)!

It was fine and underwhelming, but they edited everyone's reactions like she couldn't hit a note, broke a guitar string, and then threw up everywhere. Arrietty and (sadly) Lydia were my bottom 2. Lexi dropping the she-devil line TOOK ME OUT. There's something about Sam Star I just don't like and I can't put my finger on it. Jewels gave me nothing in the MTQ but she was maybe my favorite??

She can do no wrong, I can’t wait to see her roller skate next week 👏🏼 Ru obviously LOVES Lydia’s names, I think Ru is gonna play a game with herself of how many times she can say butthole this season. Lastly, I’m so sorry to Joella, don’t listen to my lil gay opinion- but something about the Katy Perry storyline just didn’t do it for me. Glad there was a lot of great talent performances, especially funny ones. Hopefully they'll stay interested with the rest of the season. One of them is friends with Joella's sibling too apparently. We were scared she was gonna be at the bottom. My biggest gripe is that Acacia lost for being pretty original by singing live but Suzie was rewarded for being creative like right after. Must've sucked for Acacia and also must be demoralizing even further for queens who wanna sing live.

I think Acacia’s and Arrietty’s performances stood out the least to the girls because there was no “drag” twist - they just wore a costume and performed a standard version of a talent. However, I would argue Joella and Lydia had the performances I would least want to watch again because they missed the mark on funny, ended abruptly, and just didn’t really go anywhere. any pronouns❤️

The trauma talk conversation about reviewing drag family trees got me thinking about it, particularly Lexi Love's talking head comments coming across like she's not from a "high class" drag family but that doesn't mean she is less-than the girls who are. Is this really increasing in drag culture or is this just newly featured on Drag Race? Thank you so much ladies for every single episode and everything you do, for art and for your fans! Imo Lucky & Suzie should've been top 2. When it comes to runway Jewels & Arietty had my fav looks. But I WISH the girls would know to keep the masks on until you're in front of the judges then take it off. Like the runway was literally masks, why take it on 0.8 seconds into the runway. I loved Squirrel Games and it felt like that RuPocalypse parking lot mess from Season 4(?). Lexi Love, Onya Nerve, and Kori King are standouts without even doing their talent show, which says a lot!! Suzie and Lucky bring something new and exciting and Jewels and Joella did well doing a more traditional Drag Race number. Fun runway category… I wonder with that RPDR’s Got Talent, and Squid Games if the whole season will have challenges/runways will be based on other tv shows?? Anyway love you byeee
