So I haven't been to a con since 2019, bigger issue with me being honest is I haven't been to a con since my surgery/hospital stay in 2019-2020 so certain things have changed for me like I HAVE to have certain routines or I will have dire consequences.
Staying in the official hotel helped with that, as I have to take meds and eat at certain times now which cons anywhere around the world acquiring food is always an issue.
We got there Wednesday for setup, registered and then onto the art show. I had 2 panels for RedCoatCat plus a table and the same for SalonKitty.
I would have had more art in the art show but two pieces got damaged before the show so it didn't feed right selling them in a show (one is foam board piece the other is an acrylic glass print).
I feel a little guilty I didn't see many others with that many panels, so maybe next year I'll only do one and half for each name. I don't want people thinking I'm greedy I just had A LOT of art I could show.
Got our conbooks as I did the EF conbook cover and a very large banner near the main stage.
The EF conbook cover I started in 2020 and didn't finish it untill this year when I was told that the con was a go. The banner I hammered out as fast as I could, I'm super proud of it and it's showing my changing art style as I like heavier inks now. I will make a post with the higher res for these after this.
Kojote was NOT feeling setting up the dealers room so we decided to do that Thursday before it opens.
We got drinks out at the Biergarten and chilled for a bit by the giant glowing Leda and the Swan sculpture.
Thursday morning we set up the dealers table, honestly I had NO idea what display stuff I had and didn't have. We had so much new stuff for the table it was kinda confusing on how to display it all. I'm going to switch out a lot of stuff I also want to make a nicer display for commissions as well as a display for Synthetic Instinct.
My acrylic standees with the led glowy bases looked really cool, people kept wanting to buy them so maybe I'll make smaller versions available.
I'm always leery of character merch which might be stupid of me.
Sales were great Thursday I was stupid busy I think I only got 1 sketch started. A ton of Synthetic Instinct volume 1 sold.
Worked on 4 sketches that I finished in the artist lounge later that night.
Friday was pretty much the same as Thursday but Kojote handled most of the sales as I kept my head down to draw. Only thing is many people made comments like 'if this is volume 1 where is volume 2?'
When I explained I'm working on it I would get mixed reactions some were kinda of rude.
I don't know what to say to these people. Over all that was minority everyone else was pretty positive.
Finished all my commissions in the artist lounge again.
Saturday I was tired and woke up with the start of a migraine so threw drugs at that which calmed it before leaving the hotel room. Kojote and I wanted to look around so we did some shopping. Came back to the table to remove the sacred table cloth and had it 'open'
Saturday sales were again great, every day was VERY steady, I'm used to at least having one slow day. Not this EF!
Tear down went smooth, then I went back to the hotel room to work on last day commissions and later picked up art show pay cheque with unsold art.
I have a few originals that did not sell that I may offer to you Patreons if interested.
I know some of you were interested in a few.

I'll take photos of the frames/matting if I sell them on here.
All the limited prints and other originals I brought sold in the art show.
I'm also happy to see my colour pencil work being well recieved, I only started that medium in 2020 as I felt I had spare time waiting for immigration/passports/paper work and covid delaying EVERYTHING.
So I still feel super novice and new to it.
I DO have two embellished gold leafed matted prints of Fox phases left from my dealers table, normally those sell very quickly but I do have two left I can offer to Patreons.
We left Sunday and drove home after some customer picked up their con sketches.
We hit so much construction we rolled in super late.
