Herald Of Autumn
Added 2023-08-27 15:00:05 +0000 UTCI did the background in super granulating watercolour, I did base layers of the rest in watercolour so I'm not working off white. Then built up the cat in watercolour pencil then worked on the rock and leaves.
Afterwards I used Calcium Carbonate(white charcoal) and blended it with a dry acrylic paint brush to soften the background out making it look foggy.
I really needed a break from digital art routine it was kinda depressing me along with all the con prep for EF. I keep meaning to try to make a work routine to keep traditional media in it because when I get into fixed work routines (pencil, ink, flat fill, shade etc) it doesn't keep my brain thinking as traditional media is a lot more spontaneous, least for me.
