I think that this is someone telling a loved one that is dying that it’s ok to go, to let go of that pain & suffering & escape into the dream & unknown of death & that they will never be alone, they will always be kept alive in memories&dreams. I saw another reactor think this but also read the lyrics & got a mixed vibe of MCRs black parade & Cancer.

Aarrrggggh you know I love it when you react to Palaye!!!! Dead on with the mcr vibes- my daughter literally sings the lyrics of an mcr song along to this it fits together so well ( the song alludes me atm) but mcr we’re a huge influence on the boys so they would not be offended by the comparison. You always like the palaye songs also I’d love to see more!!

The MCR song you were thinking of is Famous Last Words. I get the vibe between that and Welcome to the Black Parade, so I think you were dead on 🖤

In Anchor by Novo Amor i think the ending that you were a little confused about why she died, my interpretation of it is that her dying is the end of her coming back to him, and him saying "anchor up to me love" is like him pleading her not to leave and not come back. Novo Amor states the meaning of the video here: “The inspiration for the video comes from Gaelic folklore of the Selkie,” “Selkies live as Seals in the sea but shed their skin to live as human on land. If a man steals a Selkie’s skin she is to live in his power and become his wife, but because her true home will always be the sea, she will always be longing for the ocean and often caught gazing at the horizon. The underlying concept of the song is about wanting and waiting for something/someone to return, so this video was naturally a perfect fit.”
