Big Brother: Another Story v0.1 Demo News

Big Brother will return, but as a new story. It will share many similarities to the original, and will also include new gameplay features and storylines.

We are developing with Ren'Py to give us greater capabilities to introduce things such as animation, as well as range of new technical additions.

Lets start with the interface.

We have kept a standard menu that allows the player to select locations and actions, and made changes to character menus, inventory management, and opportunities screens.

The opportunities window now displays a history of the players past activites, allowing you to keep track of the various actions you can take to help you progress the game.

The items window has been given a new look.

Images with characters will change depending on what they do. So same in the future on change images will influence mood and relations with the main hero.

The game will continue to develop over the course of several updates, which will include adjustments to the relationship mechanics. New updates will include:

- The main character will need to look after his energy, fitness. and hygeine.

- Careful management of these resources will be crucial throughout the game.

- Multiple layers of clothing. 3-6 Variations of scenes with characters.

The new interface is more or less complete. The bulk of our time is now spent working on the new relationship mechanics.

They key thing is that the project is moving forward depsite the quantity of work being very large. Once the current build has been sufficiently debugged, we will release the demo.
