Q&A Session

It's been a while since I made a post, but here's the deal.

If anyone has a question regarding the story so far, wants to know more about a character or a specific setting, you can ask me here and I will try to answer your questions as good as possible wihtout spoiling the story to come.

And if you have ideas you want to see appear in the story, go ahead and comment them as well, I'll see if I can do something for my patreons :)

Hope you had a great weekend

There won't be any major timeskips for the time being, I want to build the world for a while and set up a good foundation. I still want to make her seem youthful, she's just 13 after all ^^

I love Nisha's young personality. I seem to have grown to enjoy the beginnings of stories like this more than the fully developed characters. For example Naruto's development was fun at first and became serious and cool. I still liked the adult Naruto but I enjoyed the young one more. So, personally, I hope you don't skip a few years again!

I usually sit down and imagine the current situation and how it can play out in a cinematic fashion. Every now and then I think of a story thread that can start with the current situation and resurface in the future, giving me a rough outline how I want the story to flow. And sometimes I just start writing with something in mind and end up somewhere completely else ^^ I don't believe in fairy tale 'plot armor' where every good character survives just because they know the main character. I have some of them planned to ie at later junctures if the situation calls for it. Everyone is on the list

Thank you for this awesome opportunity and for writing such an interesting story. What have you found as inspiration for your writing? I appreciate the broad strokes implied in your storytelling. How many of the characters will have catastrophic loss that fundamentally changes the lens the world is seen?

Yup

I have a rough storyline in mind, how everything will go down, but sometimes I change things as I write them. As for the total length, I can't say yet but I have a lot fun while writing and definitely want to keep going for a long time

It's going to be explained in a future chapter, but I can give a rough answer. There's different ranks for spirits and usually they take a shape according to the thing they are born from or linked to. The elementals in the church in the past are born from the faith of their believers and have shapes that took after those beliefs. For Nisha's knight spirit, it originally had a similar form and then got refined by her bloodline, slightly altering it. Does that answer the question?

Do you have a rough idea how long the story will be, or do you write it open ended enough to continue more or less forever?

Michigo

Why does the spirit creature resemble a knight Instead of a dragon...
