The Violet Dynamics Robotics Enlargement Center sits quietly amidst a dense forest. Its enormous towers and outer walls dominate the landscape, but the entire facility rests mostly underground. The Free Drones of Central Greene discovered the vast technoplex on an abandoned planet orbiting their solar-system neighbor. Coincidentally, its exact coordinates on the planet's surface was exactly the same as the CommsNet code used by the Central Drone Authority back on the Free Drone homeworld; that number sequence was often used as a first-contact landing zone just for fun.

Now, many wonder if it really was just for fun, or if the Drone Authority has been hiding something.

The Violet Dynamics facility is incalculably old; that is to say, it is literally incalculable. Radiocarbon dating and local flora samples generate wildly inconsistent results - some pieces of metal are over a million years old, while a different piece from the same object claims to have been made mere minutes before it was tested.

The facility's architecture features many elements that are commonly found in Free Drone architecture - its faded exterior decals even seem to be the same signature cirtus-orange as the Free Drone flag.

Scouting teams and scientists are establishing a permanent outpost outside the main entrance to the building, preparing to explore deeper.
