A day ago, when I got a bit better with my sickness, I decided to slowly get back to drawing. And for a small simple practice I chose this time to draw something just for myself, before I hop again into the large commission projects. It's a first rough draft, but I think I will able to make a final linework and shading over the next 2 or 3 days, and post the final result here.
🌑 🌑 🌑
Originally, when I worked on it, I didn't even hear about new Jack-O-Pose art challenge, cause I was far away from the community this September. Therefore I was surprised at the reaction of my friends to the first sketches when they said something "you too?" or "Though shouldn't character's legs be more stretched out and be shown?". Funny fact, but only because of that, I got to know about this challenge. But even after that, I'm still not planning to change my current draft in order to take part in this new trend. Initially my idea was not about it, and I think it looks good enough how it is.
But speaking of challenges, if I would call it something, then I would call it "Frog-O-Pose"
Why frog? Hah, maybe because I'm odd roo with a frog? Or maybe because in making this pose, I was inspired by the simple frog from specific animation Throat Notes which was done by Felix Colgrave.... Yeah, vveeery odd reference for the inspiration, but this is me!
And some of my close friends even appreciates me for that)) and I do appreciate them back too!
