unplanned summons (lighting & shading)
Added 2021-10-28 20:04:39 +0000 UTCA few weeks ago, one of my friends had got a commission and showed me. Original plan was to leave the art in flat colour, and after short conversation about shading, in order to prove my words I decided to make small preview of this piece, how it could look with shadows. I just wanted to make the suitable sample of shading for this art, but suddenly my friend and the original creator of this art loved this sample so much, they let me to do shading for the final art in full res.
Actually I didn't think for something like that, but on other hand I'm glad that they were so kind for giving me this opportunity for my additional practice in shading. And yeah, I'm happy that both of them loved the result of my own small contribution to the final artwork.
For people who still didn't get what this submission about, I will shortly summarize: original art, main concept, lineart, flat colours were made by vampirika. My part of the work was only for making the shading & lighting to give the scene more volume.
