2022-09-24 04:44:14 +0000 UTCIt is super interesting and frustrating how much having an out or recognized relationship impacts how people view you as bi - I have…weird attraction, and am like 60% for masc folks, 40% for femmes, but like…have been told (or thought!) I’m “not gay”. I get it’s frustrating to have someone who can pass as straight, and escape the discrimination, but I also wonder if my bisexuality would’ve been stronger if I didn’t have internalized biphobia and had been more able to explore my gayness as a younger person. Not trying to blame anyone or anything other than society, just thoughts from a bi lady who grew up in super homophobic background
