i think another interesting perspective on the NLOG thing is afabs that came out as transmasc or enby later in life going "damn i *really* wasn't like other girls" -- i thought i was alone in this and wasn't going to comment on this at first until i saw a meme to this effect on a subreddit. in hindsight, and even a little at the time, i realized i wasn't even like other NLOGs 'cause the motivation for how we got there was different on a fundamental level. girls thought they were in competition with me for men and probably ended up hating me more 'cause they probably took me actively trying to get men to see me as anything but a viable date as cool detachment. i remember thinking maybe i could neutralize it by coming out as a lesbian but 1) genuinely am bi and 2) i couldn't put my finger on why lesbian didn't fit until i realized that i wasn't a girl/woman and that it didn't make sense to approach relationships that way. whole buncha just... what a wild ride gender is lmfao
