Danjiri Fighting Festival
Added 2018-11-01 09:23:56 +0000 UTCEvery area has their own danjiri. They’re like little portable shrines and they represent the area. And every areas danjiri festival is different. I’ve seen them taken into the ocean, carried through town, and raced down mountains.
But sometimes they just get all the danjiri carriers drunk and have them shove the massive wooden shrines into each other for bragging rights.
