AIC questions answered

AIC SPOILERS 

I've gotten quite a few questions. I'm going to answer a select few below as a way of dipping my toes back into fanfiction. I hope you feel some relief, and I also hope that this jumpstarts my interest in AIC again. 

Q What happened to Smaug?

A Smaug is living in Karin's bedroom. He has found a place in the middle of the hierarchy of snake summons. He abuses this power to monopolize sunny spots in the house, as he is one of the biggest and most senior animals allowed in the house. He is usually found perched balefully on top of her vanity, making it impossible to use heat styling tools. Karin has tried, and found that Smaug will sit on the straightener when she turns it on. He lost ass fur on his left flank this way, but never conceded a centimeter of vanity counterspace. Karin has begun using the bathroom mirror to get ready for the day, and she is angry about having to share space.

A lot of people want to know about what's going on in Aiko's home universe. There's a lot of speculation about heartbreak, and a mirroring of the grief and loss that her loved ones went through when she was kidnapped and missing before. 

Q What's happening in Konoha #1? 

A Nothing. Nothing is what is going on, because the Hiraishin is a space-time seal and she exited at a particular point in time. If she re-enters, it would be back at that point in time. Until Aiko either goes back or (permanently) dies and therefore fails to re-enter at that time stamp, there is functionally no action ongoing in her universe. Meaning that while she has been growing and changing, Konoha has not moved on a single second.

That's not to say you'll never know what happens next for them. That's the epilogue, very last thing. But don't grieve yet. :) 

Q Did Aiko end up lying to hamburger meat?

A No. She just hasn't gotten to that yet. What is a dream but a plan that you aren't working towards? Are you working towards all of your dreams?

(this answer would not persuade hamburger meat, either.)
