Drunk driving in recent episode

I had a patron write in upset that I narrated a story in which the author drank and drive. Just to address that point and make a quick obligatory statement: I obviously do not encourage drunk driving. I doubt many, or any of you think I do. I'm also sure the author regrets their decisions. I do not exclude story submissions because the authors make poor decisions, though. I've read stories where authors cheat on their significant others, break into abandoned buildings or private property, etc. However, these are real stories by real people. And real people make real mistakes. I would rather an author include all the details, even the ones that paint them in a negative light, than omit them. I hope you understand and thank you for your support. Please do not start a heated debate in the comments on this post, though :)

Additionally, I do not omit details or edit story submissions, and the stories are not reflective of mine or anyone else's opinions that involved in the show.
