2023-05-31 22:41:53 +0000 UTCI really enjoyed this series it was one of the few instances where Scooby and Shaggy and everyone else had encounters with real demons and ghosts instead of the same tired and boring repetitive formula of the ghosts always being fake. Plus they got Vincent Price as a reoccurring character and he's not the bad guy that is such unique casting because he always ends up playing the villain. I wish we could have gotten a real conclusion to this series instead of the 13th ghost movie. I mean I guess it was okay but I really hate them trying to ducktail off of better entries in the series by trying to make continuity with the one-off movies. I especially hate the fact that in modern Scooby-Doo Velma always has to be The Annoying wet blanket who can't accept that the monsters are actually real even when the proof and evidence is literally smacking her in the face. I like Velma as a character when she's portrayed well but she always ends up being the most obnoxious stick in the mud who sounds like a broken record of constantly maintaining oh no the monsters aren't real it gets old real fast.
