i probably wouldn't hate the missdirect so much if i wasn't a watcher of Detective Conan/Case Closed where Ran/Rachel "figures out" shinichi/jimmy is conan not once, not twice, but a few times and she's tricked into thinking its not him and she's going crazy and no. Once maybe, twice sure, but any time after that you should know something is up. She saves his life because she knows shinichi's blood type even it's painful she's tricked after that. His life is saved because she knew the truth and he goes back to lying to her robin williams/genie gif of "tell her the truth" applies here
