Patron Update: Upcoming Projects + Q&A

Howdy folks, it's been a while since I did a Patreon update so I wanted to let people know how everything is going.

You can probably guess from the title that the next video in the works is for Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar. This is regarded as one of the single-most important RPGs ever made, so I'm taking the research and writing very seriously. I mean, I always do of course... but like, even more with this! I want to make sure I do it justice. There's quite a few ports to cover, and the game is orders of magnitude more complex than Ultima III, so expect this one to take a little longer than most of the other Ultima videos (and for it to have a longer runtime too).

I'm undecided if afterwards I'm going to launch straight into Ultima V, or take a little break to look at some Sega Saturn RPGs (ala the 3DO RPG video, if you've seen that one). There are a lot of really interesting games that I want to take a look at, including Baroque & Panzer Dragoon Saga via some shorter reviews. It's so good.

Anyway, whatever I get around to first will largely depend on if I'm feeling Ultima'd-out, but the Shadow Tower break left me energized to return to the series. Speaking of Shadow Tower, thank you to everyone who watched and supported that video! It did very well for viewership right out of the gate.

 I've uploaded one short video to that channel, and I plan on releasing more of the same type, along with Patreon Q&As. I've decided to move the Q&A stuff from the video credits into their own videos on the Majuularcade channel, mostly because the credits in my videos were getting to be a little bit too long.

If you're not in my Discord server where the Q&A channel is hosted, please feel free to reply to this post with questions, fun topics or hypotheticals you want me to make a video on. I can't promise I'll get around to them all right away, but I will work through them over the course of the videos.

It should go without saying by now, but I'm incredibly thankful for all of my supporters, old & new. I've been able to do all kinds of things I'd never have dreamed of when I started this channel because of you guys, and I hope that reflects in the videos I'm making. Happy spring, talk to you soon!
