References for comics
Added 2015-08-31 13:49:11 +0000 UTCReferences are extremely important for artists, especially in comics. Comics can have all sorts of crazy angles, situations, anatomy, close ups, and HANDS OH GOD.
I'm usually all right with hands (back in the days, I drew about 50 hands per week, that probably helped), but hands subtly holding something in particular? I decided to go with a reference for a panel in page 78 of Headless Bliss, and I'm glad I did! Especially when you can do the ref yourself and there's someone to take the picture for you.
There you go, that was me being more chatty on a Patreon post. I do believe it adds a bit more background for the Patrons who are curious :)
