New Patreon fee structure...

You might have already heard about this from twitter and the like, and possibly Patreon themselves sending an email about this but, they're planning on changing the whole fee system so that instead of creators paying the charge fee every month, you do too.
Here's Patreon's page about it, and the twitter response (which, so far, has been 100% negative).
When first seeing their mail (that they sent to creators one day before sending it to you) at midnight before going to sleep I was like "oh... yay money!" Because the way they put it, it really was "creator first" and it didn't seem to hurt much, only improve our monthly income.
It's... not that. Not really. I've come to realize pretty quickly that both Patrons and creators will suffer from this change (as explained by many smarter folks than I), and that the winner in this decision would be, you guessed it, Patreon itself.
I've lost four Patrons already due to this new circulating information, but the actual change itself won't be employed before the 18th of December (so Patreon said). There's still a chance Patreon will listen to the backlash this has brought, and stop this from happening. This whole situation is too recent to know how things will go...
I'm waiting it out for now, and won't make any drastic decisions. But if any arises... you'll be the first to know.
