Stop sending emails for each pledge I make?
Added 2018-08-20 10:14:44 +0000 UTCUPDATE: Never mind!! I thought it meant sending you emails for each content I give you, but it's actually for each pledge I make to ANOTHER CREATOR. Which of course I'll disable, I never KNEW that was possible in the first place and have zero interest in this!

Scrolling through my settings, I see that I have this active box going on: "Send emails to all your patrons when you make a pledge".
Do you wish for me to disable this? I personally don't enjoy receiving so many emails from every creator I support just because it fills my inbox too fast and I can go on Patreon when I wish to check their new contents out.
What do you prefer? It's also possible that you can disable creators' email notifications on your side anyway, look in your settings to make things more pleasant for you!

Ah well, I wouldn't say that - it is a way in which you can give the creators you support some additional support, by also making them known to your supporters (who might like the same stuff as you do). Unfortunately on the other hand, it is something I cannot disable on my side, which means that it gets the quality of spamming ... I guess Patreon will have to think this feature through again at some time. Especially as you could as well advertise by writing a post about your pledge and the creator to make people aware of someone who you think deserves more support :)

2018-08-21 07:28:45 +0000 UTCI have disabled email notices (from all the artists I support on Patreon) but I follow you on Twitter and have the Patreon app. Plus, you know: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday. It’s not hard to remember when you update stuff.

2018-08-20 12:58:30 +0000 UTCPersonally, I usually disregard emails from Patreon notifying me about creators' pledges, but I understand that some of your patrons might be interested in who you support so that they can discover new interesting artists. Whatever you decide, it's OK with me.

2018-08-20 11:26:05 +0000 UTCActually I like the emails about your new content (because then I know when it is worthwhile to check on Patreon), but I don't much care for emails telling me which other creators you support, to be honest (which is what that checkbox is about). So, I would prefer it if you disable that option.
