I love the Gaston (one of my oldest cartoon loves.) Franquin was such a great artist and it is hard* to recreate his creations. You hit on some very Franquin-y lines there. *I don’t know if it’s true but I once read that Franquin had to come to the studio to draw the Marsupilami, because the artists who took over Spirou et Fantasio had trouble drawing it.
