I've been working on my comic entry for the Heartwood anthology (it's gonna be so full of amazing artists aaaah!), and I thought it might interest some of you to see a thumbnail of a page I did before I begun the comic itself.
Usually my thumbnails/script is way, WAY messier and unreadable. But that's because I don't have to show it to anyone but me, so if I understand it, it's enough.
But since this project is all about regularly communicating your work progress and choices with someone else, I had to make it as clear and understandable as I could. Brought me back memories from when I was in art school! (not the best memories to be honest, but glad I can replace them with projects like these)
Anyway, everyone has their own methods, but this sort of thumbnail format is a classic for many comic artists who need to collaborate with others. (at least, from what I've seen, and from what I learned)
Hope you enjoy this more in-depth tid-bit, don't hesitate to ask questions if you have any and let me know if you'd like more of these sorts of insights to my work.
Cheers!
