Little Tiny Things p.16

YAY we get to see the CHARMING NEIGHBOR, I'm so excited<3

btw, I've edited last page because I had forgotten that I wanted this moment to be when night time's just around the corner, so I added some darker gray in last week's update to show that!

This also allowed me to make Pia more visible and stand out from the background, so it's a win-win!

This comic is wonderful for me to practice many things. Movement and character expressions, but also things I'm less at ease with, like lighting, contrasts and vegetation and houses... I love it! :D

27/08/21 edit:
->changed the french wording in last panel, also tweaked some of the neighbor's text dialogue to make the letters more wonky less straight.
->also added dark gray to Pia's hair! (for p.15 as well) looks way better, I think.

Ooo a new character

CYR

What an optimist she is.

Lol... not going to lie. The single highlight in the hair makes me think of this as a much older, grumpier Arin from Game Grumps

Ah, who's this now? And who did they think was at the door? Interesting.

The expressive hair is like eye candy.

I was looking at that too. The French seems more Pia-esque. 'Seems great' looks better... 'He looks like a great neighbour'?

Might be something I'll change later, thanks for the feedback!

I agree with Stephen, I can basically smell that person's image. πŸ˜„

I wonder what other readers think, but i feel like "what a great looking neighbor" really sounds like Pia's commenting on his appearance? the french version is "mais il a l'air SUPER comme voisin dis donc" which i would translate to "Wow, my neighbour seems GREAT"

I lost my sense of smell years ago, but the neighbour just made me smell cigarette smoke. So, well done on the imagery :p
