2021-12-16 10:14:03 +0000 UTCLove the comic and the explanation, but it definitely makes me miss these two- and how we didn't see much of them in a stable, fully realized relationship. Then again, that is often the case with romance/romance adjacent books and comics- it's all about how the characters reach their happily ever after (or for now) and not what that looks like.

I've seen that referred to as nebularomantic, which fits as I'm autistic. It took me a long time to find partners I connected with strongly enough to live with.

I've often gotten weird looks or cold shoulders for how frivolous I am with my affection, but it's all just ways of expressing love to me and you can love deeply and "platonically", and show that through gifts, cuddles, etc., without it devaluing other relationships. Beautiful.
