Little Tiny Things p.75

Another little thing that's different from GGaR, this comic actually has a specific time period! It's the first day of school in 2021 in France. First time I ever write a story in such a concrete and down to earth setting :D
(it's weird but not unpleasant!)

It's Franglais, and clover is being very naughty by the judgement of the Acadamie.

Opus the Poet

Good hair flowing in the wind, I love it.

I guess Emile doesn't quite have the same welcoming and accepting attitude to insects as Pia! And he's a teacher, I see... is that why he drinks so much? ;P

+1, one of the greatest of my childhood.

Did not expect teacher, but I respect it.

Colton

Philémon ! A man of culture, that Emile. Strangest bédés I have read.

Adam Hasvers

I have seen "Ptiouuu" beforehand, I'm sure! TYVM for this 😊

"Cette année, la date de pré-rentrée des enseignants est prévue le mercredi 1er septembre 2021. Ce qui signifie que les élèves feront quant à eux leur rentrée le jeudi 2 septembre 2021." Donc là on est le mardi 31 août 2021 a priori?

no, "fling" isn't a word in french. literal equivalents are "jeter", "balancer". a sound-effect for this panel might have been "ptiouuu" or "tej!" (which is slang for "throw away"). Clover is just being LAZY =D

2 fautes: case 5 "entrain" -> "en train" case 7 "s'en est un" -> "c'en est un"

I am just curious because I have been trying to improve on my very basic school-grade French, but is "fling" the same in both languages? I remember reading translated Astérix books that sound effects like that were often different because they had been airbrushed out when they were part of the art, but you could still tell what they were sometimes...
