She can't fight as she watch what look like a marine creature from the depths now has her in her hands. She wanted to scream as the creature looks angry at the intruder, but all that could come out was watery gurgles as she has no more air to spare.
Luckly for her however, the creature seemed only interested in the necklace around her neck. As Charllote starts to inhale water, it seems to take it from her neck by force. Charllote herself not being able to stop it in her own drowning thoughts.
