A language that is intriguing to me but looks complicated to learn :D
But since I live in Brittany now (Bretagne, not England), I've been wanting to drop some Breton refs in this comic (that takes place in the whereabouts, though the village name 'Joiville' is purely fictional!)

This also explains all the effort she put in, you gotta prove to your older siblings that you are more capable than them. And of course the older sister's timing is impeccable.

2023-08-23 16:13:34 +0000 UTCI've once shared a flat with a guy from Bretagne, pretty cool times! He cooked really good pancakes. I'm fascinated by dialects! Once I learned a little greeting a friend's grandpa used to say, in Occitane: "ko' vai ko, lupito?" Something like "how are you doing, little guy?" I'm pretty sure I can't spell it right but it's pretty cute.
