2023-03-12 23:20:08 +0000 UTCDon't worry, Pia, Ed still likes you! :) And yeah, you should be careful not to kill anything if you can avoid it, but you can't really go getting sad over every dead insect... think of it like this - the lives of insects are usually very brutal and short anyway, so accidentally killing one isn't really doing anything to them that wasn't going to happen to them anyway, sooner or later. Plus, from what I know about insects, they probably don't have a very deep inner life or very strong feelings, at least compared to most mammals or reptiles, for example. Doesn't mean they're not important to ecosystems, and doesn't mean they can't still be beautiful... I'm just saying. I hope you feel better soon!
