Added 2024-10-30 16:09:33 +0000 UTCGood news to French readers: I've finally found someone to reread my text in French before updating pages on the internet, and I have SO many mistakes to fix that I've made in the past (and never caught onto them, 'cause I'm bad at my own native language what can you do).
Actually, it's less that I've found someone to read the French version, and more that I've finally accepted someone else to read it before I upload it on the web.
I have my faults and all :)
Anyway, have some friends just being friends! To someone's deepest regret.

2024-11-06 19:22:43 +0000 UTCIt's a little different for me: I've lived a few years in the USA when pre-teen and when we had to go back to France, I was very very very very sad to leave my "best friends forever" and having to go back to French school and having to catch a lot of things up, work hard etc... so I decided I hated French! I psychologically blocked it out, used it only when needed, but didn't want anything else to do with it and so, since then our relationship (between French and me) became difficult, and I still make basic grammar mistakes and mix up french expressions and words that make for a good laugh, but not for a good French comic :)

Because you know what you meant to say, your eyes automatically read the text that way instead of what it actually word. In a second language, you watch yourself for errors more carefully, but some will still sneak into then text.
