oooold ggar making of

I did this in 2012, when chapter 7 ended, and I was drawing GGaR digitally at that time (but always start with pencil and paper to sketch things out, never have been able to do everything on the tablet)!

Since I've created a "Makings Of" collection for Patreon, I thought I'd add in this ol' one :)

(my makings of aren't masterpieces by any stretch but it can always help someone start things out!) (and if you do start things out, remember that there are a billion ways to make comics and the important thing is to follow what's right for you! we're all different and have different needs and wants and all :))

If you ever need a spare page you can do a making of for the New Pia & the Little Things.

You know, I enjoyed every change of art style GGaR had along the way. Makes me nostalgic! Perhaps I'll re-read it... On an unrelated note, I've finally managed to change my name on my job, so now everyone knows "Lillian Sibila" wrote my articles! That's me! Such a long way we all came...

I think it's easy to forget that art doesn't magically spring forth to the page! These making-of glimpses show that it's a process and can help inspire new or aspiring artists to keep going.

Pretend nothing, I am VERY interested in this! Even seeing the process, there is something truly magical about how an idea is brought to life this way! 💖

Looking good!

Ahhhh memories. You've come such a long way, but it's so nice to see the style I fell in love with when I first started reading your beautiful art.
