No, I’m very grateful to be where I’m at but I did hit my 1 year mark since surgery. Aaaand, it’s fine. But, mentally very difficult still to push myself and, most importantly, very difficult physically. Today I was doing chest stuff and felt a weird tingle in my bicep so I stopped, but when I pushed on the spot a little electric current went down my arm. So still lots of damage and so on. This will and has been consistent for a long time through recovery. Every little win shows more and more how much damage has been done .
So this is what slow looks like. Putting in work and constantly having to pull back, have less than you want or have had. It’s very frustrating, very scary, but ultimately, fine. All apart of it and I’m happy to at least be where I am now.
Can always be smarter with our health which this is teaching me.
