Upload Notes: In Gravel's Care
Added 2020-09-07 07:30:47 +0000 UTCSo, this is my first dive into Arknights~ My first real dive into a fandom I'm not personally accustomed to! As such, there were quite a few challenges to writing this commission, but the commissioner was pleased with the work, so I think I scored well where it mattered. I actually intended to play Arknights a bit before I got into this work, the hope being I might also find a fun game to play... unfortunately, I've been a little too busy to put myself into a game like Arknights, so I had to do research the boring way: by researching stuff.
Thankfully there's a lot of info on Arknights between the couple of wikis it has~ Gravel is a pretty simple character, but I was actually drawn to her even before this commission was offered. I once went through a list of Arknights characters, looking for anyone special, and this rat was the coolest one I could find. I love capybaras, and I'm pretty sure that's what she's supposed to be, hehe~ She's very cute! Rmm, maybe I will play Arknights eventually...
Gravel made for a very cute character to be tiny around~ She's helpful but also teasing -- gotta love that. I took a few liberties with her personality, there's unfortunately not a whole lot of depth for her as far as I could gleam from online. It was nice to have a story that was soft and cozy, nothing very dramatic or intense~ Even the romance is kept pretty light and cutesy, I'd say, sort of like a first or second date.
Well, that's all I have to say here I think. As a general update, I've been very busy lately with my other job, so I've been a bit slower than usual~ But thank you guys for your patience, as well as your support! I look forward to the next upload~
