Detailed Weekly Update - September 8, 2024

Hello, revengers! Back at it with another weekly update!

This week I’ve worked exclusively on an event where we reveal one of Connor’s secrets, and also get a possible glimpse on what our revenge on him can be. I’ve spent a lot of time writing about him lately, so I think I am more and more consistent when it comes to his personality.

I think I'm going to share a little sneak peek tomorrow, but will try not to spoil too much.

Otherwise, the only other thing that happened this week was the amazing poll I held. And I’ve noticed most of you decided to just make fun of me. Which is fair. So let me just explain how some of the incredibly popular choices aren’t feasible.

1. Throwing awesome parties

Love it. Only problem is that the only party that has been written in the game took many, many words. If we were to throw a party, it would be kinda weird for none of the ROs to be there. If they were, I would have to write a lot of possible variants for all of them. Which would be total overkill. This could work later in the game when the relationships with all of the characters are more established, but right now it’s just too hard to write in a satisfying way.

2. Start a cult to become a GOD

I mean, where do I even start with this? Really cool idea, 10/10. Only problem is that I’m already working overtime with all of these ROs and secrets and events and secondary stats. That’s the only stat I’m really missing: “godhood.” Or maybe “perceived godhood.” As I said, great idea. Maybe for a future game though…

3. Beat up Isaac Freeman

That will happen in chapter 12, cause I can’t give instant gratification. You have to work for it.
