Detailed Weekly Update - March 02, 2025

Hello, hello! Happy March everyone, it’s good to be back with some progress.

Let’s start off with the chapter 4 stuff, I’ve finished writing all of the plans, and now I’m writing the actual “putting the plan into action” bit. Some of the plans can fail, so heads up on that front, but since you can do like 4 plans, it’s not like you can fail them all, right? Also added a sanity stat for all targets, which will be lowered after this little prank.

I finished everything Dylan related, decided to go with statue and commenter with old nickname plans. With Olivia I’m halfway done, gone with the presenter saying the same words she said before the dance (which has a pretty interesting challenge beforehand since the presenter is a teacher) and giving her sad food choice from chapter 1, using a paid freshman.

For the others I’ve just written the plan but not the actual meat and potatoes of the plan in action, for Michael and Cecily I kept the ew and dog head plans, for Vivian I went with a plan to throw a dodgeball at her while she’s on top of the pyramid cheerleading (related to added chapter 1 bullying story), for Isaac I went with GayConnorSimp’s idea to leave a dead lamb in his locker after the game, but decided to put a target on it and hang a sign on it that says “internet celebrity” (cause that’s what he calls himself after the video of the Tragedy gets viral). There’s also a Vivian and Isaac plan with the broken glasses filter (related to added bullying scene in chapter 1).

For Connor, spoilers I guess, I added a little line during the Tragedy where he kinda shits on MC for trusting him. This is why the little thing we can do is play back on repeat on his stage monitor the thing he said during the Tragedy, only for him to hear. And for Haley we just raise her heartbeat by almost spilling something red on the piece of art she worked for the homecoming exhibition. Just to tease that upcoming punch bath!

Exact things I've written for chapter 4:

• Finished all plan descriptions for little revenge choices for homecoming.

• Wrote the build up and preparation to Dylan 1 and 2 plans, and Olivia 1 plan.

• Added a short scene with Wren the house keeper after choosing your homecoming date.

Exact things I've written for previous chapters:

• Dylan now gives you a nickname when you're young. I need to make him say it more often than once to make sure it sticks.

• Connor has a line during the Tragedy now. Might add some for Vivian too, work in progress.

Anyway, this week I should be able to finish all of the planning and actually start writing the homecoming game! Which will be so awesome. Thanks for the support everyone, the end of chapter 4 is just around the corner!
