I can see Malone. He was given half of his baskets for all those points. And I thought his defense was a lil overrated.

Interesting. I see LeBrawn as Malone with handles, the big-body power forward who can score facing the basket, sort of started with Elvin Hayes. And it's the Hershel Walker syndrome, a guy who adds a level of size and strength to a preexisting package, sort of what Magic was. But LBJ has had a huge advantage in his situation, playing in a era and under circumstances that have allowed him to bully lesser physical specimens while the goons weren't really allowed to touch him. And of course he's had the advantage of playing in the east. Malone's only advantage was that he played with Stockton, although goons like Eaton on his side probably helped him some. But a good choice - me, I might have picked Russell, but Oscar would be more fitting in this comparison - I only saw him later in his career, and all I saw was a bigger, stronger guy who just backed guys down with his body, until he got to the optimum position for his little jumper. And he was a lot like Malone, on a small-market team with one other superstar, Jerry Lucas (the precursor to Hayes/Malone?), that couldn't break through, at least not until Kareem gave him a title.

That's a hot take right there! I've always gave him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to stat padding. But you have valid points.

They're young, but Cleveland inability to cover the bed when they make it in the morning will let them drive and score easy buckets. That'll build confidence and help them out a lot. It'll be hard though. Back when CLE was winning, I still thought they were bad cuz they were having to score 125 to win those games by 4. LBJ ruined KLove. Same with Bosh. Turned them into spot up shooters not utilizing 85% of their ability all so he can be a more dominant Russell Westbrook. He's great at it though. It's also the reason he hasn't won more chips.

Their young guys are very nice..but some of them may need a playoff run under their belt before they can perform on the big stage.

Toronto is real...real in the sense that they will be unpredictable and a "wildcard" in the post season. LeBron is always all about LeBron but everyone else well not KD last summer.
