Warriors vs Spurs || Game 2 ||

Didn't  get the first few minutes out here in the Desert. Also if some one can clarify this Flagrant and Tec point system for the playoffs for us that would be dope.

Why bell is not playing heavier? is it health? or he is not in the shape? from the start of the season i was seeing him as potential starter and now he has regressed heavily

"Watch him change his rhythm" You mean watch him change his pivot foot? Haha. 2:00

Livingston just frustrated the hell out of me.. it's like mo speights flashbacks.. gotta agree on drays antics but I love when he has the ball and a shooter is up top with him and he sees his man sagging off him so he will dribble quickly over to the shooter (i.e. KD in one of your last clips..@ 13:16) set a screen as he hands it off and his man that was sagging can't recover quick enough on the shooter.. see it happen at least 3 or 4 times a game especially in transition.. such high IQ.. love the vids!

Always great points Richard. I do take his defense and communication for granted. His offense has been rough tho. With Steph there’s been more of those forced shots he should never be taking.

I would have him work on drawing fouls.. we all know there is s art to it. When he does drive, a lot of the time it’s too much on a straight line and at one speed. Manu is the perfect example of changing speeds and direction to draw fouls.

Athletic Alchemy

Shit! I’m very upset with the officiating every other night!

Athletic Alchemy

Haha good take! I’m with you on Mills, that’s exactly what his mindset is.

Athletic Alchemy

Don’t believe everything you hear.

Stephen Curry likely out 3 more weeks. So mid 2nd round a return, depending how NOP vs POR goes. Should be interesting how we handle a much more talented team, either of them

Great analysis, but I don't think Draymond deserves any criticism at all. Only praise. There's a reason Draymond had the highest +/- of the game (+17). When Draymond left the floor, the defense fell apart. Kerr brought Draymond back in the game late in the 1Q when he had 2 fouls lol. That's how bad Kerr needs him. And our offense was at it's best with Draymond in the game and especially at the 5. People always talk about Curry/KD or Curry/Klay but the most underrated duo on the team is Draymond/Iguodala. I think Draymond/Iguodala have the best chemistry between 2 players on the entire team. A couple bball geniuses playing off each other. It's not gonna show up in the stats, but these 2 dominated this game. They were orchestrating both the defense and offense. To beat the Spurs when they are defending like that, you need high bball IQ players like them to make all those reads, coordinate the defense, and do all the little things and details people don't see that make a successful play possible. When Draymond/Iguodala are locked in like that, even if they don't score, we won't lose.

On those Draymond's corner 3's and even some if the 2's, while those are often not shots Draymond can pass but I honestly think Draymond would be better off driving and shooting a floater after a dribble or 2 than shooting an out of rhythm or corner 3. Of course that's the position you put yourself in by never learning to shoot a basic 1 or 2 dribble, on balance' jump stop pull up 15 footer. Ana of course Draymond's ego gets in the way of any clear headed smart shot selection.

I heard Foster and Brothers are officiating our game 3. I've got no beef with Foster after game 2 (I think) of the finals last year but I think game 3 in San Antonio could still get very interesting especially if one or more of the Dubs have a short fuse. It is going to be a very physical game. I predict that some people are going to be very upset with the officiating.

Low key Patricia mills a low key dirty player. Him and delly must’ve spoke before the game. I don’t mean dirty as in I’m gonna try and take someone out. He’s the dude who knows he doesn’t stand a chance because his height and horrible defense so he just tries to stay up in or under guys the hole game and then exaggerate contact. Like dude your trying to feel klays nuts under his shorts and your flailing around. Like a damn gnat when you got sweaty balls. I’m also pretty sure a flagrant points gets counted towards techs when it comes to suspensions. Didn’t dray get a flagrant on bron when he ball tapped him. Was that his fourth flagrant that playoffs? I know he had 6 techs. Damn,to much to keep up with. Good breakdown on loon and the high low. I also agree Dray is realizing his impact may not be as much as, and as worth as, it once was so he's constantly trying to press to much. Alright, I said my peace.

OG knows whats best.

Athletic Alchemy

Ok cool..thats what I found but it was unofficial.

Athletic Alchemy

I figured that was the gameplay for them. Overall it was not as bad, but my gawd that jump ball call I could not believe!

Athletic Alchemy

There was a few K.I.C whistles at the beginning of the game and that's why draymond ended up being subbed out. There was probably 3 or 4 whistles against the Dubs which were questionable

I’m not worried about drags flagrant doubt he picks up more in these playoffs, he is will pick up techs though. His shots are questionable I know he has to shoot it to keep the defender honest but damn some of those look like a blind man threw them up. I think David West getting the ball to klay was really good because it seems like draymond and kd forgets about him sometimes and iso crappy shots.

You get 4 Flagrant Points or 7 Technical Fouls before a suspension.

Aqua

West refusing to pass Dray the ball when he was open for 3 killed me. He did it twice and I busted out laughing each time. Especially the first time. you could see West think about it then say to himself "Nah I better take this mid jumper instead"
