my thinking during this game was i’m not sure if they can make 3s that efficiently again. even james harden wasn’t shooting well. if we can stop the corner 3s after iso drives then we can stop the big quarters from them. also, i think steph being in oracle might be good so he can find his shot. playoff alc letting the fro bang lol

What amazes me about our offense is how much we relied on KD in both games. That really scares me for our chances to come out of this series. Klay had glimpses of getting something going, but it never really materialized. AI not driving to the rim a few times, and deferring to KD. Steph.. much has been said. Very worrying to me.
After gm1 a lot of us were thinking, this could be a 5 game series. I'm thinking it'll go 7 now, and that we could be tied 2-2 after the Oakland stint. UNLESS Steph and Klay get going. If that happens, I think we could easily take the next 2 games. Sunday's game is big for us. I think it sets the tone for the rest of the series, and whether it will be a slog or not.
This is certainly more interesting than 12-0 going into the Finals! (Be careful what you wish for, comes to mind.)

Stoked to see Boston, love watching that team, and if somehow Lebron could find a way to win that series, it would only lead him to a sweep in Oakland.

You asked about the percentage
I think it's at least 60% mental.
The Chef is looking to pass first, drive second, 3 ball, if it feels absolutely necessary. He chucked up a couple deep ones, because he was aware of this tendency but just couldn't shake it. I was hoping earlier to force feed the 3 ball but it's hard when it seems KD is a sure 2 points on nearly every possession. This teams all about momentum, if not for the turnovers, you would've saw either Klay or Curry get off. But with the turnovers comes stagnate energy and it leaves the primary option to feed Durant. Which is fine when you're leading, but coming from behind against a team that gambles on the 3 pointer more than every other possession? It's gonna feel like a steep ass hill to climb. Kerr's gotta make a decision,
and it know it ain't a pretty one, but if Curry comes out flat, gotta reduce those minutes, cuz his ass is getting abused on the defensive end.

I mean I'm a fan of the Celtics and the Dubs, so I hope it ends up being 7 games with the Celtics.

I have one extremely important question: why do announcers constantly joke about KD's listed height and actual height? What is going on here? Are people not allowed to know his true height? Can someone please just stand near him with a measuring tape? This joke gets said every single game and its dumb.

I think your right... pregame I was taking about the phrase “get greedy” Steph had used. It really implies your not supposed to win.

Reminded me of Game 3 against the Pels. With GSW, you can tell exactly how the game is gonna go by their effort and energy level in the 1Q. We were a step slow on defense all game. As Draymond said postgame, the problem tonight was not offense, it was the defense. With this team, the defense always fuels the offense and the defense was slow all game. It wasn't at the same level it was in Game 1. Every switch and every rotation was a step slow. That's why all of a sudden, HOU had open shooters and driving lanes everywhere. And Curry had the exact same demeanor and body language in G3 of Pels series. In each series so far, we have lost 1 of the 2 road games we played and, in each loss, it was obvious that the effort level and focus was nothing close to what it was in our road wins. So there's a pattern here. It's almost as if GSW goes into these series and road games with the mindset that the goal is a split. Split on the road and take care of business at home. Even before this series, Draymond and KD stated that the goal is to take 1 in Houston. This mindset could explain why we play super hard in one road game and then play with subpar effort in the other one.

I mean its weird because the shots he pulled up from beyond the arc, I mean it was just not in rhythm and he just chuck it up because he felt like we needed him to.
I think we can’t heavily depend on Iso KD even from the get go because we need to initiate the ball movement. Klay never got in rhythm tonight nor did he even touch the ball much.
Trevor Ariza was a huge factor defensively. Tucker got his, nothing we can do about it.
Gordon was due for s big game and I always keep an eye on him because he is very Korver/Klay-esque in terms of he’ll just pull up from any range and it has a good chance of going in.
Other than that, our “others” were a no show.

I don't know what steph is doing right now, kerr needs to set couple screens for him out of the gate on sunday, kerr also needs to switch kd and klay substitution and let kd do all his iso ball in the second quarter. For the east I want boston, might be harder but more entertaining, I don't know if they make it a longer series I just think there will be no blowouts

I’m not only worried for Steph offensively but more so on the defensive end.
I mean the guy is just getting abused and this is the 2nd time CP3 but Curry on his ass. 3 long, long days bro, gonna be tough but dub nation gotta be loud af on Sunday, we can’t afford to go down 1-2 or even a split in GM 3 & 4.
