I'm originally from Rochester but my family was two broke to take us to the matches when they would come on regular loops back in the 80s. Rochester is one of the WWE's OG markets, so it always warms my heart when they're in the building. The only golden era show I saw in the old War Memorial was a Superstars taping in 1991. The big draw was a Hogan/Slaughter dark match and man was that worth the veerrrrry long taping. I think my dad pulled one over on me and my brother; we left shortly after the Hogan match and that seemed like the main event enough to me (and after three Big Boss Man matches, I was kind of ready to go anyway). But reading the show results decades later, I missed Ultimate Warrior vs Undertaker.
