Some of the corner sections I had questions about (121-124) had next to nobody in the top rows (and in the rows that dropped off in those sections). A few people wrote to say the poor house was visible on TV at times. This would be the lowest number for a TV taping outside of Daily's Place.

Hopefully this is a wake up call that major changes need to happen within their live events department. It's pretty clear that the status quo is not working, and unfortunately poor attendance gives the perception of a cold product - creating a negative feedback loop further affecting live attendance. Obviously WWE being hot is severely affecting live attendance, and that is out of their control. However, there is so much that they could be doing to improve sales that they are not. 1. Send some talent for meet & greets to promote pre-sales. 2. If pre-sales are not a hit start promoting to the local market a few major names (MJF, Omega) that will be appearing live. Scale it out appropriately so that you continue to have new names to promote until you hit an acceptable advance. 3. Media blitz the market the week of the show, similar to how they did for Grand Slam. 4. If all else fails, start using things like seat fillers to make it look acceptable on TV.
