dilemma ! (in regards to patron recognition)

HELLO new patrons! ^^

I am happy to see people take interest in my art and be as gracious as to support it ! It truly means a lot !!!

     What this page entails is mainly: exclusive drawings & details, sometimes behind-the-scenes, recognition for your pledge on my animations, and discounted commissions (when they are open). Your time means a lot to me and I hope I can make it worth it!

I WANTED to write this mainly as an update, possibly even for feedback, and to resolve any confusion if risen.

     Recently my YouTube channel gained a bit of attention, and I assume that's where new- and some current- patrons have joined from. ....Well, I have finished yet another AMV, and I was hoping to post it tonight or tomorrow.

HOWEVER, if you've pledged after April 30th, you won't be charged for the month until June 1st.

This means those that have not been charged yet won't be within the end credits of this video for this month. I really hate to exclude those out of something they voluntarily signed up for, and I'd like to propose some possible, happy mediums:

     FIRSTLY, you will still have access to all exclusive content within my Patreon- I'll still be posting my monthly quota. There is a lot here that has not been shared publicly!

     SECONDLY, THERE WILL BE MORE ANIMATIONS! As stated before, ANIMATING takes time. I don't expect to post so frequently, as I have been, forever- but I don't see myself quitting this medium. When I pursue greater projects in the future it will take more time. But as I'm writing my story, I'm trying to get more practice in & learn from each video I make.

I have more AMV's in progress that I project will be completed within the coming month(s). If you've been charged for the month, expect to see your name within the credits!

     THIRDLY, I hear requests & suggestions from Patrons! If there's something you'd like to see more of, LMK!

     I've had previous users retract their patronage before they paid, and/or declined charges, thus gaining benefits unfairly compared to those who haven't. I want to make everyone happy, but it wouldn't be respectful towards Patron#1 to honestly earn access, and be within the same realm of benefits as Patron#2, who hasn't. I like to assume everyone has good faith in them, but having fixed values is the best way to ensure no one is cheated.

There is another billing method Patreon released about a year-or-so ago, that charges upon joining. The charge date wouldn't change for existing pledges, but would charge new members on the date they decided to join. I can't say I am certain about it. Yes, it would ensure I am paid before someone accesses my content, but I don't know how user-friendly it would be in case someone ever needed to change the amount pledged. Nor can I reverse subscription-billing once enabled.

I am looking for feedback & opinions on this, and what I can do to fulfill my promises here and in the future! 

MINOR NOTES REGARDING END-CREDITS:

     The way I order the credits is chronological, from the date a "cool cat" first joined, to last. Paying 30 extra dollars won't get you a different font or larger rewards, I only have one tier--- Most importantly, I want this to be affordable and I value time & consistency more than anything (as your time is money)! You are more than welcome to pledge more than the $1.75 USD required, but I won't be offended if you ever decide to lower or drop a pledge as I want the time to be well-spent. I am happy to have you while you're here.

(P.S, credit scenes will now be more eye-catching, and maybe at some point personalized).

 MISCELLANEOUS / WHAT TO EXPECT:

While I don't make flipnotes as often as I once did, I usually don't credit patrons directly within them because I feel it takes spirit away from the nature of a flipnote. This may change, previously I've made public "thank you" panels in compensation. I may begin posting credits within the description of the YouTube upload as well.

ALSO! I don't mind silly names, but please keep your handles to stuff that won't get me caught by The YouTube Police- If it consists of things such as slurs or I deem it unfit, I will approach you and ask you to change it; otherwise, you won't be within the credits.

LASTLY- THIS TIER IS 18+! There is no smut, but my content frequently contains heavier themes and sometimes eccentric artwork I'd rather feel free to express myself in. If I catch you are underage you will be booted!!!

If you've managed to read all of this, wow! this reads like an e-mail from customer service.

     Once again, I mainly wanted to address this so that there may be no confusion nor disappointment, as well as seek some feedback among subscription-billing, or if this seems unfair. I may be making a way bigger deal out of this than it is, (which is something I'm good at doing!), but I hope this doesn't come off as intimidating more than I just want to be clear. Some of these things I only address because they have been brought to my attention before.
