Is Draymond really Hurt? Tre and who! and the Lakers shooting

Last little warmup with the new format for the season. Nothing to juicy besides my Draymond take. I think the counter take form the others has some real potential.

Is Draymond really Hurt? Tre and who! and the Lakers shooting

I hear you! My take is my take tho, I don't think about what will be negative or positive its just what I think. DJ looks like he could prove me wrong! But your right I don't like the two 2 way guys at all! Just don't! Hopefully at some point we will get some answers from McCaws camp.

I have to see more! I think he is more comfortabel Catch and shoot. But as a pg he will need to be able to pull off the bounce. You get my full take for sure, but I have only seen him take like 4 game shots in 6 months.

Alch, I'd suggest watching the combination of negativism and speculation, that could be a deadly mix. Guys like Colin Coward love to conjure up whole-cloth narratives, and that's fine if they're real possibilities, but they can't always be downers. My impression is that you think the Ws haven't done anything right since dumping Casspi and signing Cook, and you're down on all the new guys, and even the one guy who hasn't showed up. I was kind of hoping that House Jr. would be the guy they picked, but don't see anything close to what the coaches and management see from these guys, and with their track record I assume they have a good reason for sending him packing. The real issue is what they have left and how that bench is going to function, and that comes down to not playing the guys who could most suffer overuse too much, and those guys to me are Iggy, S-Dot and Draymond. They signed Jerebko as a pure 4 backup, which they didn't have last year, and that in part because with reduced centers they can't play Loon and JB at the 4 so much. McCaw gone missing kills them as backup for the other two, which is where Evans almost has to come through, a big if for a deep 1st-round rookie. And I have to wonder about what I wondered about last year when they cut Casspi - is that a warning to vet ring-chasers who might be willing to sign a minimum deal to get theirs? The Dubs certainly haven't bagged one of those since then. Now, maybe they don't want that, they're watching every penny, but the one guy we know they will pay is McCaw, if they've really offered him $5.2M over two years, but even there they apparently won't guarantee the 2nd year. There is so much about this season that is tied into Boogie coming back healthy and fitting in, which almost makes the bench problem immaterial, but the year could really go sideways if that doesn't happen.

I agree, I don't see him really favoring the knee in those highlights (I didn't see the game); when he's bent over holding his knees in that one shot that looks like conditioning to me. And I don't really agree Dray is playing this as a contract year, he wouldn't show up out of shape if that was the case. I don't see Draymond as a guy who has any interest in leaving GSW, his career has been made by playing on this team with these stars, which has made him a star doing all the dirty work and rewarded him with 3 championships - and left him alone when he's gone off the rails some during games. I also think down deep he feels like he cost these guys a title in '16, and so perpetually owes them one. Like everyone else he wants to get paid, but I don't think he's going to upset the apple cart to get his - if Klay and KD come back next year I don't see him breaking up the Beatles in '20, not unless he's really starting to lose it and the Ws just decide his best is behind him. I do think he'd prefer to make a deal next summer, though, and not do the real contract year thing in 19-20.

ayyy Alch! mad vid! You didnt mention Lonzo Ball! your thoughts on him as a shooter?

Interesting Draymond take but I don't believe it's correct. I listened to Kerr's media session today. He said the issue with Draymond is conditioning and that makes sense since he only played 1 preseason game and he himself said he didn't touch a bball for 7 weeks this summer. The dude was traveling all over the world. His conditioning is not there and that's what you say against the lakers. That's why Kerr said he's gonna play him in short bursts and he even said he wants to play him "significant minutes". There's no minutes restriction. I doubt he would do this if there was any concern about the knee.

Saw that! Weird mix with them.

Looks like the suns been watching your vids coach, cause they just swooped up jamal Crawford

Cowens came back and played for Nellie with the bucks but Cowens was a full bore 1 gear player and when he can back he was in drive not overdrive so it didn't really work. What's similar is that he was at the top when he stopped unexpectedly and nobody especially players and I think Cowens himself understood why.

I’m with you completely! Your right the Dray shit would makes no sense. But I’ve just seen it too many times. It’s like when you hear a noise from your car. But you don’t go to mechanic because you know your gonna be told something is wrong. You just drive it until the there is a actual performance issue.

Athletic Alchemy

I’ve heard that story lol didn’t remember it was Dave. I only remember him as another failed Warriors coach. But I’m aware he was a Beast in his day.

Athletic Alchemy

Until we see a major bad decision or indecision by our GM, I say "In Bob we trust" for now. I really hope we don't do any of that nepotism shit with Steph bro in law. Why would Draymond wait until the beginning of the NBA season get his knees looked at?? Makes no freaking sense. He can't be that dumb and stubborn. I say we bring in Crawford to continue our scoring streak when starters rest.

Walter Kim

Pat has decided to drive a cab like Dave Cowens, wait a minute, wait a minute, this just in he's driving for Uber! And yes, that's a real thing, in the middle of his career, Cowens decided to stop playing, a very iconoclastic moment, what you mean you're not gonna play?

Steven Stanley

Your right. But they way these stars are doing things now is different it starts the year before.

Athletic Alchemy

Doesn't Dray have 2 years left on his contract, he's locked in till the summer after next. It's Klay on the contract year.
