All great scores once they decide that’s it. But I hear what your saying he more than others gets in predetermined modes.

If you go back and watch last years WCF you will realize that part of the reason why Houston was so effective defensively agains the Warriors was because KD had a hard time finding the open man when double teamed. It seems as if once KD decides he is going score and makes his move he looses sight of where other players are on the court. Houston would waited for KD to make his move to his sweet spot and then come with the double. KD and the coaching staff never really made an adjustment to this problem and I think this year they are making an emphasis to correct his.

I didn’t give Quinn credit for his garbage time buckets. They were just that, and he didn’t look to pass at all in those 4ths. But he looks improved! Everybody sees things through their own lense. I’d pick at it systematically, start with PnR action, and just pay attention to that. It’s very hard to take it all in. The more you watch and know than your lense widens and it not as hard to see more at once.

Quinn showing why there's no difference between a Cook and a Chef. In all seriousness tho I really thought he played well, was shooting with confidence and distributing the ball. When Steph was out last year he really had a good stretch for like 5 games. Hopefully he keeps it up. That being said, looking forward to seeing Curry back on the floor. I have a question for you Alch. Its sort of unrelated to this game but I want some of your advice. I am trying to enhance my ability to make meaningful observations during a game so I can analyze and dig deeper into the X's and O's of a game. How do you usually watch games and do you have any tips on how I can improve my observation skills? Thanks, and keep up the good work.

I think KD will stay as long as we pay him. He enjoy scoring but also facilitating. Just like you said he needs to entertain himself. But he hates losing. And he loves to play with great players in great culture. I just don't see the club he will be happier. I think it's all about a war against the ownership. The players are pressuring collectively to open their big pocket.

Man how does KD attempt 2 less 3 pointers than LeBron this season? And I think I've seen him take only one buzzer beater this season (Wizards) while usually kicking out the ball to someone else being contested. This isn't OKC anymore. I call it like it is.
The Cook took over for the Chef big time which is great. Iguodala seems so damn questionable these days. He knocked down some nice shots last game but defensively and playmaking wise, it's very questionable. But maybe as usual he turns it up just enough for the post season. Worried about Draymond's health... this team desperately needs him.
Wonder if we can get Boogie ready for Christmas. That would be awesome.

I agree the depth is good but it’s early. Jerebko and Zo need to continue to show consistency. I think what people are pointing to is Shaun and IG looking washed.

There's been a narrative building since the loss against Giannis that the Dubs lack depth.
I personally think this bench is the best it has been in quite a while and that's been without Livingston or Boogie's season starting. It's gonna be hard to argue after they sweep through the West and take the East in 5 that this isn't the best team of all time.
+1 on the Klay swagger
+1 on Iggy starting his season in late Feb
+1 KD is 60-40 atm staying in the Bay

I love Jim! I don’t thinks it’s a conscious thing, we all do these type a things in one way or another. It’s more of a tone thing.

Kd shot selection when steph is out is always questionable, glad dem boys came out to play couldn't take another L. Iggy might will play 2 more seasons max, I think he is happy with his rings and ready to play golf now. However I will not declare his death until he dogs it in the playoffs.

If you're of the opinion that this is Andre's last year, who do with get to fill his role? I really like dinwiddie personally.

That's an interesting observation about Jim. I'll have to pay attention to that and see how often it happens. He's definitely more of an old school kinda guy, so I can see it happening. Very good showing from the bench last night. I enjoyed that game quite a lot. This stretch playing undermanned will ultimately strengthen the group. These opportunities and playing time experience for the non-star players are critical.

Sous-chef Cook finally fulfilled expectations. Love that dude!!!
